Iakovakis has chosen Auschwitz - Francesco Guccini. as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Roy Kingston has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Roy Kingston seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Kingston misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kingston looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kingston throws a nice looking combination but Iakovakis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Iakovakis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Roy Kingston has been cut.

Iakovakis walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Kingston drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Iakovakis swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Kingston's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silm shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Public defends it nicely.
Silm fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Public avoids it really well and circles away.
Public connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Silm shoots in for a double leg but Public sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kelley Public has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maario Silm.
Silm blocks a head kick by Public.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silm misses with a takedown attempt - Public sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Public connects with a good right hand that stumbles Silm. Silm circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Silm has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Public.
A cross from Public lands.
Silm closes the distance and clinches up with Public, looking for a takedown. Silm pushes Public against the cage but Public circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silm looks gassed!
Look low, kick high! Public uses the oldest trick in the book to send Silm tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Public is absolutely delighted - when Silm wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Tanner looking to sit in guard and control but nidorenko gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as nidorenko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Tanner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if nidorenko can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tanner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but nidorenko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Well, if Tanner is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
