The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carrol darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Carrol is looking to take a break and control but Sasiprapa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Carrol tries to pass to full mount but Sasiprapa defends it.

Sasiprapa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carrol. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Barost Carrol has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Jackson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kronic.
Jackson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kronic finds it's way round the side to connect with Jackson's head.
Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown. Kronic tries to sprawl out of it but Jackson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Kronic manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sloppy strikes from Kronic. Those never looked like landing.

Kronic feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jackson sprawling to the canvas! Jackson rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kronic finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kronic connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Jackson covering up! Kronic comes in with a big uppercut and Jackson goes doooown! He's slumped up against the ropes, eyes staring blankly into space.
