The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rivera.

Mason has taken the fight to the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Mason.
Rivera gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mason.

Mason is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rivera can't fight it off and eventually Mason manages to take the fight to the floor. Rivera looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
