Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willy Smithson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aidan Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier has chosen Lynyrd Skynyrd-Gimme back my Bullets as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier shoots in for a takedown but Smithson shows good takedown defense.
Xavier shoots in for a double leg but Smithson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Xavier closes the distance and clinches.

Smithson jumps guard and drags Xavier to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Xavier wants to get up but he can't break Smithson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Smithson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Xavier throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Smithson's body to avoid the submission. Smithson has instead reached around Xavier's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Smithson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rinky Spider seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

James on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Spider catches James with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A nice leg kick lands there from Spider.
Sloppy strikes from James. Those never looked like landing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spider throws a combination that misses
and James counters with an outside leg kick.

It looks like Rick James has been cut.

Spider lands a big head kick that sends James tumbling to the mat! Spider takes a step backwards and waves James back to his feet - he wants the finish!

James is rocked!
Spider lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens James up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Spider from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw James's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

After winning the bout, Rinky Spider thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jones crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jorma - the referee stops the clock and Jones gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jorma. Jones manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Jones has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Jorma.
Jones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jorma connects with a body shot that sends Jones's belly button to the back.
Jones gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jorma circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Jones to the canvas! Jones doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Jorma keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rasva Jorma!
In his post fight interview, Rasva Jorma gave a big smile as he said 'Sometimes handling this awesomeness gets out of my hands. Then I just deal with by punishing my opponent. You just saw how it happens. You are welcome but next time you should cheer me more. Im much better than you in every way and we all know it.'.

Poor strikes thrown by Hawking there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That was a close round but I would say that Dwight Moody will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Moody takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Moody throws the left hand but White avoids the punch easily.
Moody keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
White fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Moody has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Moody sizes up White with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Oh Moody is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
White moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Moody switches off momentarily and White cracks him with a monster right hand! Moody topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as White dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by White!
