The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bjornsund wants to clinch.
Fowler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bjornsund tries to avoid it but Fowler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bjornsund to the ground. Bjornsund escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fowler looks for a takedown but Bjornsund sprawls well.

Tea bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Padilla's head.
Tea fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Padilla looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Tea manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Padilla on his heels. He'll look to pass Padilla's guard now, I'm sure.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Padilla is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tea defends well.
Tea is pushing down on Padilla's leg trying to pass to half guard. Padilla is fighting to maintain full guard but Tea has managed to sneak the leg through.

Out shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Out was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Vanguard is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Vanguard tries to lock up and control but Out gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Out wants to control the action but instead Vanguard gets a body lock and reverses into Out's guard! Nice work!
Out is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Vanguard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Out has his foot on Vanguard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vanguard works his way back into a safe position though.
