Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Van De Kamp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Kawada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van De Kamp comes to the cage accompanied by Sister Sin - Fight Song. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Van De Kamp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Keiji Kawada!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kawada moves into range and clinches up with Van De Kamp.

Kawada rushes Van De Kamp and presses him up against the cage.

Van De Kamp wants the takedown. Kawada is fighting it off but Van De Kamp persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kawada's guard against the cage.

Van De Kamp drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Van De Kamp jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Van De Kamp stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kawada swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kawada instigates a clinch.

Kawada ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kawada no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kawada escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van De Kamp gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Van De Kamp is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kawada is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kawada has escaped and now he's on top!
Van De Kamp bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kawada's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
