The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woo Jin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Saadiev scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Woo Jin.
Saadiev takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Saadiev bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Woo Jin's head.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Woo Jin. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Woo Jin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Oh Woo Jin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Saadiev is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Saadiev shuts the power down on Woo Jin. Lights out, game over! Saadiev is your winner.

A very excited looking Dmitry Saadiev rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Down feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Curry scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Curry shoots in and drives through. Down sprawls well.

Down scores with a takedown into Curry's guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Curry enables Down to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Curry manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Curry has momentary wrist control but Down slips an elbow through the middle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Down working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Curry's head.
Down with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Down loads up on a big left hand. Curry felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Down looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Curry can't hide his disappointment, as Down celebrates the victory.

Mou has an Americana. Diaz didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mou is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mou hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
