Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zander Murie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Margera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Margera has chosen Clutch - The Regulator as his entrance music. Bam Margera told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! Murie moves out of range of the strikes.
Murie swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Murie throws a lazy right hand but Margera sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

MacAiken comes into the arena with Dropkick Myrphy's / Rose Tattoo blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Lou's choice of entrance music: Tech N9ne - Caribou Lou. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

MacAiken displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lou.
MacAiken lands a jab to the nose.

MacAiken takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
MacAiken connects with a nice looking jab.
No joy there for Lou, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
MacAiken looks to land a left hand but Lou moved out of range nicely.

and MacAiken counters with a three punch combo that has Lou backing up. Lou nods at MacAiken to acknowledge the strikes.

Lou looks to land a right hand but MacAiken moved out of range.

Lou throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. MacAiken was covering up waiting for the punch and Lou finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A left hand lands to the body for MacAiken.
MacAiken lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Lou.
Lou is trying to pull guard but MacAiken has him pressed against the cage.
MacAiken lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Lou jumps guard but MacAiken turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Lou has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. MacAiken is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ako gets tackled into the cage by Goldman. Goldman maintains the clinch.
Ako is working Goldman over against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ako creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Ako manages to break the clinch.
Goldman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ako.
Ako keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ako connects with a nice looking jab.
Goldman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ako pinned against the cage. Ako gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Goldman shoots for a double leg takedown but Ako sprawls well. He's pushed Goldman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Goldman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ako tries to avoid it but Goldman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ako to the ground. Ako escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Goldman is still on wobbly legs! Can Ako finish him?
Ako lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ako throws a right and a left that Goldman avoids nicely.
Ako misses with a wild combination.
Ako moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Ako steps in with a hook that catches Goldman right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Ako follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Goldman looks absolutely devastated.

Calypso sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Calypso fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Lance Uppercut's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lance Uppercut's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
