Aoki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Me pulls his leg out and moves away.
Me ducks under a wild hook from Aoki.
Aoki clobbers Me with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shinya Aoki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Creel manages to avoid it.
Creel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Creel avoids a kick to the body.
Karev throws the kick towards the body but Creel avoids it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Karev.
Creel lands with a nice body punch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Karev crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Creel - the referee stops the clock and Karev gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Creel. Karev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Creel misses with a hook. Karev ducked under it nicely.
Creel doesn't manage to clinch there - Karev circles away.

Creel fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Karev to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Karev looks to clinch but Creel throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Karev taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
