The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinds pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hinds moves out of range of the leg kick from Black.
Black looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hinds is fending him off so far but Black persists. Nope, Hinds circles away and we're back to standing.
Hinds fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Black checks it well.
Black looks to score with a jab to the body but Hinds is just out of range.

Hinds closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Black quickly recovers to half guard.
Hinds missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hinds wants to control but Black is keeping him busy.
Hinds stalling away here and it's allowed Black to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Black drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hinds manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Black has Hinds in his guard.
Hinds throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Black works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Black escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hinds gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hinds avoids a strike by Black and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Black's guard! Fantastic escape!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jones. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Jack Judo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Gridlock connects with a leg kick. Moretti looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gridlock misses the shot to the body.
Moretti cracks Gridlock with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gridlock tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Moretti pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gridlock is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
