Koch stalks Lamare and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lamare's face. Lamare staggers backwards, shaken.

Koch feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lamare sprawling to the canvas! Lamare rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Koch finish him?!

Koch thows a left - swing and a miss!
Oh Lamare is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Koch lands a beautiful left hook that drops Lamare. Lamare tries to recover but Koch is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Lamare lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacob Koch!
After the fight, Jacob Koch was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
