Markakis lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Markakis tries to bum rush Rijkaard with a series of wild strikes but Rijkaard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rijkaard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Markakis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rijkaard circles away quickly and effectively.
A combination from Markakis does no damage.
Rijkaard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Markakis misses with a two punch combination.

Markakis tries to work over Rijkaard's front leg with a kick but Rijkaard checks it.
Markakis scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Markakis closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Rijkaard! Markakis dives in looking to finish! Rijkaard is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Hennings closes the distance but Saint Louis moves to the side
and Saint Louis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hennings shoots for a double leg takedown but Saint Louis sprawls well. He's pushed Hennings's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Saint Louis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hennings momentarily.
Saint Louis is looking to slow Hennings down with leg kicks.
Saint Louis scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hennings in his tracks.

Sonnen doesn't manage to clinch there - Karimi circles away.

Karimi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sonnen on his heels. He'll look to pass Sonnen's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Karimi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sonnen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Karimi wants to control from the top but Sonnen keeps moving.

Karimi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Sonnen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Karimi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Karimi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Sonnen shoots and misses
and Karimi counters with a huge head kick that drops Sonnen! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
