Slater takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

McColgan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Slater has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Slater manages to get an easy takedown there - catching McColgan on his heels. He'll look to pass McColgan's guard now, I'm sure.

McColgan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Slater defends it easily.

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
