Butch Shorette was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

An out of breath Jeremy Perosh thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Syphon Filter was interviewed post fight and said 'I loss because I was injured. I got a broken skull coming into the fight. If I was healthy, I would have done much better.. I will win next time..'.
