The fighters circling - Big Baby throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Webster goes for a double leg but Big Baby avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Big Baby continues to drive forward.

Webster controls Big Baby momentarily but Big Baby frees himself.

Big Baby is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Big Baby will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Big Baby drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Webster manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Big Baby has Webster in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Big Baby is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Webster has his hands clasped together but Big Baby extends and breaks Webster's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Big Baby.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGordon lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tirado on the wrong end of a nice hook.

A looping hook to the body misses from McGordon. Tirado does a little dance to reset his feet.
McGordon fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Tirado moves forwards but McGordon connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Tirado gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
McGordon is looking to slow Tirado down with leg kicks.

Tirado chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McGordon can pounce on him.

McGordon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Tirado felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

McGordon is landing with some decent strikes but Tirado is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
McGordon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
