Pesci's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lombardo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pesci scrambles back to his feet.

Shen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jasper throws a sloppy head kick and Shen moves out of range easily.
Shen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jasper's waist but Jasper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shen off to one side.
Shen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jasper circles away.
Jan Jasper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shilong Shen.
Jasper throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shen has an Americana. Jasper didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Shen is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Diaz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wrestling fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Diaz shoots in looking for a takedown. Wrestling tries to sprawl out of it but Diaz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wrestling manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Diaz has clasped his hands together around Wrestling's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

O Doherty lands a left and a right that send Going crashing to the mat, dazed. O Doherty thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Sid Going has been cut.
Going looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Going gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! O Doherty gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Going is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Mickey O Doherty decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

Ba bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ihejirika swings for the body but Ba moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ba throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ihejirika was covering up waiting for the punch and Ba finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ba tries to free his leg and advance position but Ihejirika is retaining full guard.

Ba is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ihejirika swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ba is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Abou Ba wasn't active enough on the ground.
Ihejirika looks to land a right hand but Ba moved out of range.
Ba shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ihejirika defends it nicely.
Ihejirika seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Ihejirika misses with a double jab.

Ihejirika Rushes Ba and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Ba is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Ihejirika Piles on the pressure and Ba crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Liva has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
