Tac shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kurucz as he avoids it easily.
Kurucz closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Tac! Kurucz dives in looking to finish! Tac is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ketchum tries to bum rush King with a series of wild strikes but King uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
King throws a head kick that misses.
Ketchum blocks a head kick by King.
King walks into a stiff left hand from Ketchum.
King throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ketchum misses with a hook.
King lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
King finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ketchum looks to land a combination. King sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ketchum lands a slapping body shot.
Ketchum ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
King takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
King throws a leg kick which misses Ketchum's front leg but catches the back leg as Ketchum tries to avoid it.
Ketchum bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ketchum scores with the left hand. King knows he should have avoided that one.

King walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ketchum checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Ketchum changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ketchum is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
King misses with a head kick.

Ketchum takes a kick to the side of the head.
A left and a right from Ketchum both land. Nice combination.
Ketchum looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ketchum blocks a low kick nicely.
Ketchum throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends King stumbling backwards into the cage! King bounces back off the cage towards Ketchum, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Ketchum lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Ketchum celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Torres tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jorvee swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've been told by Torres's head coaches at Hey Steve's Fight Shack that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Torres throws a nice looking combination but Jorvee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belfort has taken the fight to the clinch.

Anastasio tries to pull guard but Belfort holds him up against the cage and eventually Anastasio drops back down to his feet.

Belfort wants to get up but he can't break Anastasio's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anastasio is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Belfort is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Belfort felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Garcia postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Spezza looks a forlorn figure.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johnny Garcia.
I think Spezza has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
