That was a close round but I would say that Muza Django will probably get the nod.

Brasnof leaves Rua with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brasnof, as that shot connected.

Lodbrok kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Killing in the name of.... Ivar Lodbrok could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Casey Madden's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Casey Madden!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Madden crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lodbrok - the referee stops the clock and Madden gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lodbrok. Madden manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Madden swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lodbrok takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Madden has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Lodbrok bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Madden's head.

Lodbrok will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Madden is working Lodbrok over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That was a close round but I would say that Ivar Lodbrok will probably get the nod.

Ivar Lodbrok decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
In defeat, Casey Madden stepped up to the mic, saying 'Hey props, always gonna be a tough fight in the clinch. I will be back.'.
