and McDonald counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McDonald.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

McDonald gets to his feet. Jou looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
McDonald throws a sloppy head kick and Jou moves out of range easily.
Jou rushes McDonald with punches - McDonald moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, McDonald goes down! Jou follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

and Ristolainen counters with a three punch combo that has Everton backing up. Everton nods at Ristolainen to acknowledge the strikes.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Everton crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ristolainen - the referee stops the clock and Everton gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ristolainen . Everton manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ristolainen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ristolainen throws a nice inside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ristolainen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ristolainen lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ristolainen wanted to stand there but Everton had control of the position.

Everton is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ristolainen rolls with it to try and escape but Everton cranks on the arm and Ristolainen is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
