The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lluca paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Johnson is looking to land body kicks.
Johnson wants to slow Lluca down by chopping away at his legs.
Lluca has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Lluca remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Valentin Lluca is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Lluca's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Turpin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turpin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gorrila manages to avoid it.

Gorrila cracks Turpin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gorrila stalks Turpin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Turpin's face. Turpin staggers backwards, shaken.

Gorrila shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Turpin uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Well Gorrila has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
