Maure closes the distance looking to clinch

and Bakreek counters with a crisp right hand that drops Maure! Bakreek lets Maure back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Dan Maure has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bakreek dances in with a quick combination. Maure is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Bakreek snaps Maure's head back. Maure stumbles backwards against the cage. Bakreek steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Maure's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Maure just didn't come prepared.

Rush shoots in and drives through. Sarabjit sprawls well.
Rush shoots in looking for a takedown. Sarabjit tries to sprawl out of it but Rush keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sarabjit manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rush dives in for a single leg takedown but Sarabjit sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Rcrs Sarabjit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Split Rush.

Rush gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Sarabjit had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rush defends it easily.
Rush is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Sarabjit is bucking up trying to escape but Rush cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oh Sarabjit is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Split Rush is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Sarabjit seems to have got his legs back now.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gump lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Anstey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Anstey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
