A momentary lapse in concentration from Manole enables Piekny to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Manole manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Raines drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Raines has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Liam Raines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Raines tries to avoid it but Doe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Raines to the ground. Raines escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Doe moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A left lands for Raines.
Raines clobbers Doe with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Max Doe has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
