Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Jose De Sucre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hessu Suihkija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think De Sucre might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Iced Earth - Plagues of Babylon. Suihkija comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Hessu Suihkija acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

We've been hearing good reports from Lannister's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close second round but I would say that Roddy Piper will probably get the nod.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Piper crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jokinen - the referee stops the clock and Piper gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jokinen. Piper manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Hallava had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cartwright defends it easily.
Hallava is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cartwright content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hallava has locked up a guillotine! Hallava's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Cartwright is holding on here and Hallava must be using up a lot of energy. Cartwright has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hallava gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
