The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jacob shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ortiz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Jacob is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ortiz can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

McQuaid tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jun Fan avoids it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jun Fan jerks McQuaid's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! McQuaid drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Jun Fan goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Jun Fan because McQuaid was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Parcins tries to clinch up but Oliver circles away and keeps his distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parcins looks to score with a jab to the body but Oliver is just out of range.
Oliver changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parcins tries to avoid it but Oliver manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parcins to the ground. Parcins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Parcins tries to counter by closing the distance.
Parcins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Oliver shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Oliver is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Parcins defends it well.

Oliver seems to be working for a kimura but Parcins defends the submission attempt.

Parcins pushes Oliver off, looking to escape but Oliver dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Parcins is forced to tap! The fight is over!
