The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron has a takedown stuffed.
Themistokles ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Iron tries to close the distance and clinch up but Themistokles swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Themistokles lands a jab to the head.
Iron tries to clinch but Themistokles is having none of it.
Themistokles tests Iron's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Angle Iron has been cut.
Nice body punch from Iron.
A lazy left from Themistokles finds it's target.
Themistokles thuds a left hand into Iron's body.
Iron wants to clinch but Themistokles slips to the side
and Themistokles counters with a stiff right hand.

Iron is rocked!
Themistokles walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Iron drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Themistokles swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Iron's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Georlev changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
McLeod throws a hook but Georlev blocks it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McLeod has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McLeod throws a leg kick but Georlev moved away.
McLeod connects with a leg kick. Georlev looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Georlev uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from McLeod.
Georlev shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McLeod as he avoids it easily.

Bear has the hooks in. Malone is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Bear passes his arm under Malone's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Malone taps!

Conqueror swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Avery seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Avery bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Avery catches Conqueror napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Conqueror to the canvas!

It looks like Dark Conqueror has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Avery throws a big elbow that misses.

Avery gets to his feet and stands over Conqueror, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Conqueror felt that one! Avery unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Conqueror from any more punishment!
