Gavric shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Scott is trying to defend but Gavric finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Scott on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Scott tries to get out of the position.
Gavric uses his free foot to push down on Scott's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Scott.
Scott tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Gavric takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Gavric has hold of Scott's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Scott manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gavric is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Scott is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Scott flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Gavric anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Scott and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Gavric slips an arm under Scott chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Gavric has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gavric is squeezing on Scott like an anaconda would it's prey. Scott fails to tap and has fallen unconscious!
