That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chris Palmer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel wants to clinch.
Ferrigno was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Steel has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Steel throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ferrigno.

Steel closes the distance and pushes Ferrigno back into the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ferrigno throws a punch but it's blocked by Steel.

Steel lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ferrigno backwards.
Ferrigno tries to break the clinch but Steel is controlling the position.

Steel lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Steel lands with a light punch inside.
Steel lands a right hand.
Steel misses with a punch to the body.
Steel throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Steel drops Ferrigno with a big knee straight up the middle! Ferrigno is covering up against the ropes but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ferrigno takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Steel delivers a nice body kick.
Ferrigno moves out of range of the body kick from Steel.
Ferrigno half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Steel throws a head kick but Ferrigno moves out of range.
Ferrigno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Steel tries to clinch but Ferrigno moves out of range.
Steel slips under a jab.

Steel darts in and clinches Ferrigno up against the ropes.
A left hand lands to the body for Steel.
Steel pushes Ferrigno back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Steel landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Steel presses Ferrigno against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Steel scores with a shoulder strike.
Steel cracks Ferrigno with a nice body shot.
Steel scores with a knee to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Freddy Steel dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Lou Ferrigno's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Steel lands a big head kick that sends Ferrigno tumbling to the mat! Steel takes a step backwards and waves Ferrigno back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Ferrigno blocks a head kick by Steel.
Steel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ferrigno throws a big counter combination but Steel scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Steel feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ferrigno sprawling to the canvas! Ferrigno rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Steel finish him?!

Ferrigno is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Steel cracks Ferrigno's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Ferrigno slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Steel can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Freddy Steel!
Freddy Steel bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
