The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kasady looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kasady is looking to take a break and control but Storm is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kasady tries to pass to full mount but Storm defends it.
Storm slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kasady stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Storm swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Storm has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kasady can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kasady shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Storm but Storm pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kasady chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Storm can pounce on him.
Storm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Storm throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kasady closes this distance looking for a takedown but Storm circles away.
Storm fires out a quick counter leg kick but Kasady just manages to avoid it.

Storm gets caught napping as Kasady dives in and scores a takedown. Storm manages to retain guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Desert Storm will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

McIrish feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
