With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pyro West!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Niemi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to West's calf.
Niemi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
West misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Niemi scoring well with a low kick there.
West dodges the punch combination from Niemi.
Left hook, right uppercut from Niemi.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

West closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Niemi to the mat! Niemi manages to get full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Niemi wants to stand and escape but West is having none of it.
Niemi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for West on the ground.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Shearer has left one of his arms exposed and Pokora doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Shearer screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Lord lands a nice hook to Stalinel's body. Stalinel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Lord lands a big uppercut and Stalinel crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Stalinel looks OK. Lord waves Stalinel back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lord lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Stalinel up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Lord from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Stalinel's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
