The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weste attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Weste throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Cloud Strife has been cut.

Strife shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Weste as he avoids it easily.
Weste lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Strife tries to close the distance and clinch up but Weste swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Weste lands a big head kick that sends Strife tumbling to the mat! Weste takes a step backwards and waves Strife back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cloud Strife's cut is getting worse.
Strife shoots for a double leg takedown but Weste sprawls well. He's pushed Strife's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Weste feints a jab and as Strife dips his head, Weste unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Strife right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Strife falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Weste smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

A less than humble Kanye Weste misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
