The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefe tries to clinch but Crabtree moves out of range.
Crabtree looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Crabtree scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Jefe clinches.
Jefe throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Crabtrees head.

Crabtree breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jefe gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Crabtree blocks an uppercut.
Crabtree is trying to break the clinch but Jefe is controlling him.

Jefe breaks from the clinch.
Crabtree will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Crabtree attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Crabtree lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jefe lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jefe lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Crabtree backwards.

Jefe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rancid Crabtree is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jefe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crabtree sprawls well. Crabtree wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jefe gets slowly back to his feet.
Crabtree appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Crabtree fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jefe.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Crabtree enables Jefe to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Crabtree manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jefe has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Las Vegas. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Jefe wants to stand and escape but Crabtree is having none of it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cart misses with a looping left.
Hook was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Hook misses with a hook.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cart! But no joy.
Hook steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cart.
Hook scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cart doesn't seem bothered though.
Cart connects with a crisp jab.

and Cart holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Hook fails to land.
Cart tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hook's elbow.

Hook is sitting in close to Cart's body. Cart has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hook is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hook is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cart.

Castillion uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McKenzie.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Castillion drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Castillion jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Oh McKenzie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Castillion stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Castillion can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Remy Bon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Schneeger tried to score with a low kick but Bon checks it.
Sloppy strikes from Schneeger. Those never looked like landing.
Bon is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bon tries for a takedown but Schneeger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A quick step to the side and Schneeger tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Bon feints and as Schneeger raises his hands in defense, Bon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Schneeger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bon is looking to work some ground and pound but Schneeger has wrist control.
Schneeger seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
