The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Titan darts in trying to clinch
and Shark connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Shark keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Titan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Shark rushes Titan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Shark with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Titan is rocked!

It looks like Zeus Titan has been cut.
Shark throws a knee to the head but misses.
A right hook to the body lands for Shark.
Titan is breathing heavily.
Shark throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Titan blocks it with crossed arms.
Titan misses with a knee strike.
Shark unloads an enormous knee to the head! That's knocked Titan out cold! Holy cow, it was almost as if it lifted Titan off his feet!

Ale with a poor takedown
and Alonso counters with a one-two to the body.

Oh Ale is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ale wants to clinch but Alonso slips to the side
and Alonso cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ale throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alonso's waist but Alonso gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ale off to one side.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Alonso! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amber Ale. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Alonso comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tenhunen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Sutherland avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Tenhunen pushing down on Sutherland's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Sutherland is not content to let Tenhunen control the position.
Tenhunen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sutherland with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tenhunen thows a huge punch but Sutherland dodges it nicely.

Gold felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
