The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champ throws out a powerful jab.
Tourny Champ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Champ, as that shot connected.
Champ displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dall throws out the jab.
Champ misses with a two punch combination.
Dall takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dall moves forwards but Champ connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Dall darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Champ trying to hold on to Dall's head to control him but Dall postures up.
Champ knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dall on the ground.
Dall trying to pass the guard but Champ defending well.
Champ is in trouble now - Dall has advanced to mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dall moves to back control.
Champ trying to control the action but Dall just sinks the hooks in.

Dall is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Champ with him. Champ is trying to defend but Dall has an arm under the chin now! Champ grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Solo misses with a takedown
and Su Tao counters with a stiff right hand.
Solo with a lazy takedown attempt
and Su Tao connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Su Tao looks to clinch

and Solo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Solo passes the guard and advances to mount!

Solo working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Solo is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Su Tao is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Su Tao flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Solo anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Su Tao and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Solo slips an arm under Su Tao chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Solo has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Solo is squeezing on Su Tao like an anaconda would it's prey. Su Tao fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Friman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dall.
Dall tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Friman instigates a clinch.
Dall tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Friman lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Dall misses with some punches.
Friman scores with a shot to the side of Dall's head.
Friman stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Dall struggles to land a body shot inside as Friman controls his hands.
Friman is pushing Dall up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Dall breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Friman lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Dall throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Friman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dall walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dall misses with a straight left.

Friman lands with a cross.
Dall takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Friman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dall walks into a straight right hand from Friman.
Friman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Friman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Dall cracks Friman with an open hand slap.
Friman stuffs the takedown.
Nice body punch from Friman.
Dall throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Friman counters with a crisp one two that drops Dall! Friman thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Dall to his feet! Dall is in big trouble!

Dall is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Friman is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Dall flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Dall is out cold! Friman holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ashton shoots in and bounces Dall off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ashton is working Dall over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Ashton working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dall's head.
Ashton works over Dall with some ground and pound from guard.
Ashton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dall looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Dall throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ashton uses it to pass to side control.
Dall takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Dall being controlled for a moment.
Ashton cracks Dall with a big right hand but Dall just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Ashton scores with punches from side control.
Ashton gets to mount! Dall was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Ashton scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Dall?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dall tries to lock up and control but Ashton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dall in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Dall is looking to improve his position but Ashton isn't that keen on the idea.
Ashton lands a heavy elbow.
Ashton lands a big elbow.
Ashton raining down hammerfists from mount.

Dall is rocked!

Ashton scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Dall is still in real trouble! Can Ashton finish him?

Ashton connects with a bit shot that sees Dall covering up! More strikes from Ashton and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Ashton is our winner by TKO!

After the fight, Eric Ashton was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
