The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Volkov wants to slow Rambo down by chopping away at his legs.
No joy there for Rambo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Some wild striking there from Volkov.
Volkov throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rambo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rambo lands with a right hand.
Rambo lands a nice shot to the body.
Rambo throws the left hand but Volkov avoids the punch easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rambo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Berserk looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Cabrera tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brown sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cabrera somewhat.
Brown will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Brown is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Nice defenses there by Brown.
Brown is looking for a counter combo.
Brown goes for a double leg but Cabrera avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cabrera continues to drive forward.
