With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Locke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hallava displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Locke.
Locke has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hallava.
Locke throws out a leg kick but Hallava moves out of range and Locke only half commits.
Locke fails to land the takedown.
Locke shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hallava as he avoids it easily.
Julius Hallava has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Locke.
Locke shoots in and drives through. Hallava sprawls well.
Hallava throws a big counter combination but Locke scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Locke closes the distance and clinches up with Hallava, looking for a takedown. Locke pushes Hallava against the cage but Hallava circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Al Haddad has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though.

I think Doofenshmirtz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Feuer Frei -by- Rammstein. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
