Downes is trying to trip Dos Anderez. He has hold of a leg but Dos Anderez is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Downes persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Downes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dos Anderez dives on top into guard.

Downes is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dos Anderez throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Downes's body to avoid the submission. Downes has instead reached around Dos Anderez's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Downes arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Mendez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Jerico Mendez has been cut.
Franks lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Mendez head around and knocks him out cold! Franks hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
