The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pappas misses with a double jab.
Pappas has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Pappas rushes Brown and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Brown goes for a takedown attempt but Pappas pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Brown shoots in but Pappas avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Pappas clinches up with Brown and pushes him back against the cage.

Amin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Krueger sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Amin somewhat.
Krueger connects with a looping right hand.
Amin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krueger's waist but Krueger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Amin off to one side.
Krueger shoots in but no luck this time.

Krueger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Steel Penn gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! De Gaul points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Steel Penn wakes up just in time to hear De Gaul thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
