The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Judo shoots in for a takedown but Vargas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Judo takes a swing at Vargas's ribcage but misses.
Vargas buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Judo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Vargas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Judo. That did some damage!
Vargas misses with a low kick.
Judo drops down looking for a counter takedown but Vargas sprawls and moves away.
Vargas turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Judo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vargas tries to avoid it but Judo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vargas to the ground. Vargas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
