The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

MacKregor shoots in and bounces Quincy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Quincy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst MacKregor is controlling him.
MacKregor postures up in Quincy's guard and throws a big left but Quincy blocks it.
MacKregor is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at SWF GYM - JUDO 'n' MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
MacKregor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
MacKregor loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

and Ragnar counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nwamadi's knee momentarily.
Nwamadi moves forwards but Ragnar connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ragnar lands with a shot to the body.
Nwamadi wants to clinch but Ragnar slips to the side
and Ragnar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Nwamadi is still on wobbly legs! Can Ragnar finish him?
Ragnar cracks Nwamadi with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nwamadi tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ragnar pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nwamadi is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Sinclair wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Morato fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Morato is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sinclair pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomas Morato. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Morato has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sinclair uses from the top position.

Sinclair is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Morato is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Morato is not content to let Sinclair control the position.

Sinclair has hold of Morato's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Morato seems comfortable defending it but Sinclair has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Morato is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Morato is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sinclair couldn't care less - he's delighted!

I think Boagrius might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Akkadian Empire .
