The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vakarchuk closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dark circles away.

Huia takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Huia lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Johny Clattenburg has been cut.
Huia takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Clattenburg will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Huia has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
