The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dama slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Dama throws a sloppy head kick and White moves out of range easily.
Dama lets loose with a powerful body kick. White will feel that in the morning.
White is looking to clinch but Dama is avoiding it.

White gets caught flat footed, as Dama shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dama trying to control but White is working from the bottom.
Dama must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dama pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. White is keeping the position for now.
White will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
White manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dama manages to get himself to full guard.
Dama wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dama had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. White defends it easily.

White content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Dama has locked up a guillotine! Dama's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? White is holding on here and Dama must be using up a lot of energy. White has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Dama gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Aoki has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Alvarez should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Aoki has tightened it up now! Alvarez should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Lesnoe throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
