The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Lincoln there.
Lincoln throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Kowalski counters with an outside leg kick.
Lincoln fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kowalski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lincoln rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kowalski counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lincoln's knee momentarily.
Lincoln has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Kowalski holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kowalski lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Abroham Lincoln has been cut.
I was talking to Kowalski's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Kowalski is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Makhachev.
It looked like Clarke was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Makhachev.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Clarke checks a leg kick.
Clarke just misses with a punch to the body.
And Makhachev tries to counter it with a takedown but Clarke pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Clarke thumps Makhachev with a low kick.
Clarke scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Clarke closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Rambo Valentino was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm more thirsty, i want to get back in here tomorrow and fight again!!! Come on let me!!!'.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Turner connects with a nice short shot to Smith's temple.

Turner takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Turner lands a nice short elbow.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Turner jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Smith moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Smith gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Smith fails in his attempt to clinch.

Malik Turner is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Turner connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smith's hands.
Turner lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Turner fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Turner feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Smiths jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Horrible takedown attempt by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by Turner, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Todd Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Well Turner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie is looking to clinch but Keenan is avoiding it.
Keenan feints a counter leg kick.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Keenan counters with an inside leg kick.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Keenan, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Keenan against the cage but Keenan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gracie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Keenan.

Gracie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Keenan on his heels. He'll look to pass Keenan's guard now, I'm sure.

Keenan manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Renzoi Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie looks to land a combination but Keenan avoids it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Newman throws a nice looking combination but Baba bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Baba definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Baba swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Newman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Newman tries to clinch but Baba moves out of range.

Some wild striking there from Newman.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baba digs a right hand underneath Newman's ribcage. Newman let out a lung full of air as it connected.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Baba creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Newman takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Baba lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tumenov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Shahar lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Tumenov head around and knocks him out cold! Shahar hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Oh Jace is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Murdock throws a pinpoint strike between Jace's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Jace crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Murdock scores a great knockout victory!
