Stith's coach down at Extreme MMA (7 Elites $250/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stith's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Stith throws a push kick but Cox slaps the foot to one side.
Stith lands a hook that stumbles Cox back into the cage. Stith follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Cox to the canvas! Stith pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Cox has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saleem Al Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Al Khan comes into the arena with Three Days Grace - Scared blaring out of the sound system. Wooten has chosen Judas Priest- You've got another thing coming as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wooten throws a chopping leg kick but Al Khan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Al Khan is defended easily by Wooten.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wooten enables Al Khan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wooten manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wooten is looking to stand up but Al Khan isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wooten connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Al Khan tumbling to the canvas! Wooten pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Al Khan was done - good stoppage!

and Yang counters with a nice uppercut.
Yang ducks under a wild hook from Hughes.
Hughes bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Yang 's head.

Hughes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yang circles away quickly and effectively.
Hughes drops Yang with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hughes follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
