Yilmaz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like Cengiz Yilmaz has been cut.
Parlsh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Parlsh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Parlsh feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yilmazs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A lazy left from Parlsh finds it's target.
Diesel Parlsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yilmaz clinches up against the cage.
Yilmaz throws a knee to the head but misses.

Yilmaz breaks from the clinch.
Parlsh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yilmaz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Parlsh feints a jab and as Yilmaz dips his head, Parlsh unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Yilmaz right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Yilmaz falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Parlsh smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Rasmussen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rasmussen enables Rubio to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rasmussen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rasmussen manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Rasmussen lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rasmussen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rubio is defending well for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rasmussen ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Rubio out cold! The fight is over!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Doom has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Doom looks to land a body kick but Thompson moved away.

and Thompson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Chopper Doom has been cut.
Doom takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Thompson lands a left and a right that send Doom crashing to the mat, dazed. Thompson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gaskins swings around for an armbar but Hanson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gaskins's guard.

Hanson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gaskins has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hanson is looking to defend but Gaskins has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hanson! Gaskins pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hanson taps out and this one is all over!
