The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leidner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here as Leidner stalls from top position.
Hudson pushes Leidner away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Leidner gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Hudson bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Hudson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hudson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Leidner shoots in and gets a takedown into Hudson's guard.

Hudson scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Hudson slaps away a takedown attempt from Leidner, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hudson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hudson.

Hudson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Hudson thuds his right hand into Leidner's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Leidner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hudson pinned against the cage. Hudson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hudson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hudson throws a leg kick which misses Leidner's front leg but catches the back leg as Leidner tries to avoid it.
Hudson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Hudson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Leidner's defenses. It connects perfectly with Leidner's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Proud to be an American - Lee Greenwood.
