The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Bjorkman.
Drake let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Bjorkman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Drake displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bjorkman throws out the jab.
Drake on the wrong end of a nice hook.

It looks like Tanota Drake has been cut.
Bjorkman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Drake.
Bjorkman misses with a two punch combination.
Bjorkman lands a jab.
Bjorkman jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Drake keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bjorkman.
Drake throws a sloppy head kick and Bjorkman moves out of range easily.

Bjorkman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Drake sprawling to the canvas! Drake rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bjorkman finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drake glances at the clock... BAM! Bjorkman nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Drake crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Drake is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Talbot connects with a crisp jab.
Hawk avoids the head kick by Talbot.
A punch combination from Talbot misses.
And Hawk tries to counter it with a takedown but Talbot pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Talbot connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hawk momentarily.
Hawk checks a leg kick nicely.
Hawk tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Talbot does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Hawk drops back looking for a leg! Talbot is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Talbot manages to kick Hawk off! Hawk jumps back into Talbot's guard.
Talbot has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Hawk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hawk drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hawk seems to have locked his on tight now - Talbot screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hawk, as he picks up the win!

Doyle Hawk decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson tries to move into range but Holbert moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Holbert lands a really nice looking cross but Eriksson seems unphased.
Eriksson shoots for a takedown but Holbert saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Holbert connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Rolf Eriksson has been cut.
Holbert has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Eriksson takes one to the chin there.
Holbert swinging wildly here.
Holbert stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Eriksson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Holbert fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Eriksson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Holbert looks to land a combination. Eriksson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Holbert looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Holbert shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Eriksson eats them both and turns towards Holbert to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Horrible takedown attempt by Eriksson or perhaps it was just good defense by Holbert, which made it look bad.
William Holbert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rolf Eriksson.
Holbert scores with a crisp jab that stopped Eriksson in his tracks.
Eriksson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Eriksson throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Holbert scores with the left hand. Eriksson knows he should have avoided that one.

Holbert catches Eriksson with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Eriksson forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
