The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez looks for a takedown but Saban sprawls well.

Saban looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've been hearing good reports from Gomez's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

As Gomez backs off Saban throws a huge counter combo but Gomez manages to avoid it all.

Gomez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Saban should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gomez has tightened it up now! Saban should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Geisler is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
We've been hearing reports that Herman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Herman is breathing heavily.

Geisler feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Herman sprawling to the canvas! Herman rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Geisler finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Geisler cracks Herman with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Geisler has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Herman to stand back up!

Geisler ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Oh Herman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Geisler engages and cracks Herman with a massive lead left hook - Herman tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Geisler is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

During a confident post fight interview, Otto Geisler thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

On his way into the cage it seems that Vasile Carlova has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Vasile Carlova seems to be OK! Carlova drops down looking for a counter takedown but Gracie sprawls and moves away.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

A very excited looking Kimbo Spice rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
