Malone with a poor takedown
and Horvath counters with a one-two to the body.
Horvath throws a head kick but Malone moves out of range.
Horvath blocks a leg kick.
Malone blocks a head kick by Horvath.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Malone crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Horvath - the referee stops the clock and Malone gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Horvath. Malone manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

A combination from Horvath does no damage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Malone has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Horvath throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Malone on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Horvath rushes Malone with punches - Malone moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Malone goes down! Horvath follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
