Alfred Haas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Haas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Muddersand is rocked!

Haas connects with a stiff jab that staggers Muddersand - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

The Multi Hunter throws a leg kick but Johnson checks it.
The Multi Hunter pivots, looking for a leg kick but Johnson is out of range and The Multi Hunter settles back down.
The Multi Hunter cracks Johnson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I was talking to Itchenko's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Itchenko has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Scumeron uses from the top position.

McGee wants to pass the guard but Bennet is keeping the position.

McGee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
McGee works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGee is working for a kimura but Bennet is defending it quite comfortably.
Bennet has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Vendetta Alliance London Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Bennet tries to roll over but McGee keeps him under control.

McGee has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bennet is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

McGee is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bennet is surviving well by controlling McGee's body position as best he can.

Rudy Van Daly spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
