The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKane connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Brynden Epicity has been cut.
McKane throws a body shot but no joy.
Epicity just misses with a punch to the body.
Epicity bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Epicity, right into the meat.
A slow jab from Epicity misses its intended target.
McKane rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Epicity counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Epicity throws a looping overhand right but McKane ducks down to avoid it.
Epicity looks for the body kick but McKane saw that one coming.
Crunch! Epicity slams his shin into McKane's torso.
McKane keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Epicity looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McKane throws a solid leg kick but Epicity takes the impact on his shin and smiles at McKane.
Brynden Epicity is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Brynden Epicity seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McKane drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Ozzy McKane has been cut.
Epicity throws an overhand right that lands on McKane's shoulder, as McKane tries to avoid the shot.

McKane lands a left and a right that send Epicity crashing to the mat, dazed. McKane thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

A looping hook to the body misses from Epicity. McKane does a little dance to reset his feet.
It seemed like McKane was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Nice defenses there by McKane.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McKane! But no joy.
Epicity throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Epicity throws a head kick that half lands.
McKane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Epicity.
Epicity swings away with a body shot that misses
and McKane counters with a straight right hand.
Epicity tries to score with a low kick but McKane moves his leg out of the way.

McKane wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nice uppercut lands for Epicity. That snapped McKane's head back.

and Epicity takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Epicity misses with a straight right.
McKane feints the counter takedown.
Epicity throws a head kick that misses.
Epicity dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McKane. That did some damage!

McKane connects with a right hand. Epicity shakes it off.
A lazy left from Epicity finds it's target.
McKane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Epicity was well out of range. Poor timing from McKane.
McKane displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Epicity throws out the jab.
McKane now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
McKane walks into a jab.
Epicity connects with an inside leg kick.

Epicity fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McKane manages to avoid it.
Epicity connects with a good right hand that stumbles McKane. McKane circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Epicity has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McKane.
McKane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Epicity throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McKane let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
McKane misses with a wild body shot.
Epicity on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Brynden Epicity's cut is getting worse.
Epicity throws an off balance right hand
and McKane counters with a nice uppercut.
Epicity throws a nice head kick!
Epicity throws a head kick that misses.
Epicity misses with a straight right.
Good standup being displayed there by Epicity as he connects with a hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McKane throws a shot to the body.
McKane connects with a body shot that sends Epicity's belly button to the back.

McKane lands a really nice looking cross but Epicity seems unphased.

McKane cracks Epicity with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McKane has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Epicity to stand back up!
Oh Epicity is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Epicity chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McKane can pounce on him.
Epicity misses with an uppercut.
McKane throws a body shot but no joy.
Epicity throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and McKane counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ozzy McKane!
Ozzy McKane was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
